Hi, I'm Emily.  I have worked in the not-for-profit sector for over 20 years. I am currently Deputy Director at an international road safety charity. I lead a range of projects specialising in children’s road safety working across 15 countries. Before this I had a range of roles in the voluntary sector, local and national government. I have experience in project management, fundraising, public policy and advocacy. I am a graduate of the University of York.

I have been a school governor at a primary school on Romney Marsh for over a decade and have a keen interest in education and SEND issues. My son has autism and therefore I have experience of navigating my way through mainstream school SEND processes, the EHCP system and disability benefits assessments. I am keen to support other parents in their journey to get the right support for their children with additional needs.
